Default My SS Necro (Could use some help)

This is a build I use mainly in PvP, and I was wondering if there was anything I could do to change it for the better. Or worse, depending on your disposition.

Points- 14 Curses, 10 Domination, 5 Soul Reaping, 6 Blood, and 3 Inspiration.
Runes- Superior Curses, Minor Vigor.
Armor- Curses helmet, and the rest is tatoos for the energy.
Weapons- Basic PvP stuff, first set is a PvP curses wand for casting time and the second is for recharge rate. Off-hands are +30 hp.

Skills (From left to right)- Soul Barbs, Empathy, Spiteful Spirit, Insidious Parasite, Awaken the Blood, Wastrel's Worry, Energy Tap, and a res signet.

The strategy I use is to start off with Awaken the Blood, for if the enemy is coming to us. Then I light them up with Soul Barbs, and follow up with Spiteful Spirit. That's about 31 damage off the bat from Soul Barb's affect (31 damage whenever target gains a Hex or Enchantment), and then 37 whenever they attack or use a skill due to SS. Then I cast Empathy, which I believe is about 21-23 damage whenever they attack, PLUS another 31 damage from Soul Barbs. Insidious Parasite is next, which steals 21-23 health per attack. Then I recast the spells as they cool down, and watch them die.

If they're smart enough to realize that attacking = bad, and they run, I recast Soul Barbs and bomb them with Wastrel's Worry. 31 damage per cast, and 45 damage after 3 seconds. If I run out of energy, I wait for 5 and then cast Energy Tap.


This is mainly anti-Warrior or Ranger due to the massive amount of 'On Attack' procs for my spells. Most of the time it's just stopped if the Warrior decides to back up and wait out the durations, but then like I said above I just spam Wastrel's every 3 seconds. Monks with Remove Hex and whatnot really bork this build, though. Luckily I don't fight many of them who pack it in Random arenas


EDIT- The damage I put up was without Awaken the Blood. My game is crashing alot so I couldn't go figure it all exactly.

Solution? Bring a quick casting cover hex.

Problem: Spiteful Spirit and Energy Drain are both elites. Good luck fitting them into one bar. You may have been talking about energy TAP, but that's a disgusting spell, ESPECIALLY with 3 inspiration. better to drop your blood and beef soul reaping a bit.

I fine SS necro's to be largely pointless in HA... the hexes are easily removed due to the long casting time - and even if they arent they dont do much damage unless theyre on a warrior... shud kill iway teams then :P

Yeah, I meant Energy Tap. With 3 inspiration it still gives me 10 energy back, but I can easily sub it with something else. I might be able to do Me/N and up the quick casting over Blood, but I still need a bit so that Awaken lasts more than a few seconds.
